My vision is to create an instrument
of comfort to eases your physical discomfort and/or also bring about
a soothing feeling of relaxation. Whither it is to be achieved from
heat or cold.
I have done this by creating the Comfort Pillows.
A few years ago I was given one of these Comfort Pillows as a gift.
I used mine so often and found so many different uses that I wanted
to have more than one around the house. For this reason I began
making and sewing my own Comfort Pillows. Then as time went on I
found that various sizes were also a big factor for me in some of
the ways I would use these pillows.
It wasn’t long before I started giving these Comfort Pillows away as
gifts. Birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, house warming gifts, get
well gifts, and just because gifts.
After that I was flooded with request for orders of family and
friends who wanted some for their family and friends.
I am a BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant)
survivor of 14+ years. While I am very happy to be alive and well, I
do have some disabilities from my ordeal that does not allow me to
work full time. Actually I am not able to go out and work at all. So
my recourse was to find things of interest to do that would allow me
to feel self fulfilled. This web-sight has done just that.
This web-sight is a gift to me from my son, Steve, who believes in
my talents as a craft person. So I will start out with my Comfort
Pillows because I feel they are so very special in that they can
relieve much discomfort and bring about so much satisfaction. I will
be adding more crafts to this sight as time goes on.
I have been married for 34+ years to Rich and have raised three
wonderful children, Susan, Stacey and Steven and I have two
grandchildren whom I love dearly Jordan and Cassidy. |
